These Swedish m/39-58 Overcoats are very similar to the m/39-58 field jackets but slightly longer and with two fewer pockets.
All of these jackets date from WWII to the late 1950s, a fine vintage for a wool garment. Of course, we've sorted out any that exhibit defects such as missing buttons, tears or moth holes.
This particular style of overcoat was cut down from surplus stocks of the WWII-era m/39 greatcoat. Due to Sweden’s Cold War-era military needs old surplus garments were often repurposed when necessary.
